Abhijit is a seasoned development sector professional with over a decade of experience leading impactful projects across India. With a strong foundation in civil engineering and rural management, he has successfully driven initiatives in water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), natural resource management, renewable energy, Environmental sustainability and community empowerment.

Abhijit combines technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver sustainable solutions for marginalized communities. His career spans leadership roles at renowned organizations including Aga Khan Foundation, TATA Trusts, CYDA India, and YouthAid Global Services, where he has spearheaded projects in WASH, watershed management, regenerative agriculture, livelihood development, and restoration of water bodies.

Abhijit’s strengths lie in project planning and execution, donor and government liaison, proposal writing, capacity building, and budget management. He is recognized for his ability to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders—NGOs, government agencies, and corporate partners—while ensuring projects remain community-owned and sustainable.
