The India Sanitation Coalition, in collaboration with Knorr-Bremse and Team CRY, successfully conducted a comprehensive training program under the Lighthouse Initiative Phase-II and Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen in Prithla block, Palwal, Haryana.
The objective of the program was to advance the creation of ODF Plus Model Villages through sustainable waste management practices. The training equipped implementation teams with technical knowledge and operational frameworks to establish replicable models of sanitation excellence.
Participants engaged in practical exercises, including waste segregation demonstrations and problem-solving workshops focused on addressing local sanitation challenges. This initiative highlighted the effectiveness of public–private collaboration, combining government resources and corporate expertise to achieve sustainable rural sanitation outcomes.
