  • Nikhil Kumar Singh holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from Ambedkar University, Delhi, with a specialisation in development and social change, Gender and Environment, environmental governance, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He brings expertise in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy, sustainability, social impact assessment, and thematic areas such as water security, health & nutrition, education, and livelihood enhancement.
  • Prior to joining the India Sanitation Coalition, Nikhil served as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, where he led research projects for the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, collaborated with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and Access to Nutrition Initiative (ATNI) to integrate Workforce Nutrition into ESG frameworks, and prepared ESG strategies for leading Indian corporates/PSUs.
  • An alumnus of the prestigious SBI Youth for India Fellowship, Nikhil has designed and implemented grassroots development projects in partnership with DHAN Foundation, benefitting rural communities through watershed management, education, and financial inclusion. He has also co-authored 2 chapters in the book 'Lakhpati Kisan: Transforming Agriculture-Based Livelihoods for Smallholder Farmers in India', published by Routledge Publications for projects carried out by CInI, TATA Trusts under the editorship of professors from ISB.
